Alpha Omega Disaster Restoration & Riverstone Health Recognized as “great Workplaces”
Billings MT, February 27, 2015: The Billings Jobs Service Employers’ Committee (JSEC) is proud to announce that two area businesses are to be recognized as an Employer of Choice (EOC). The EOC program was started by the Montana State Employers Council to recognize organizations throughout the state of Montana that work to engage their employees and serve their community.
In the second year of the Billings program, the Billings JSEC has chosen Alpha Omega Disaster Restoration (category – less than 25 employees) and RiverStone Health (category – 25 or more employees) from among eleven nominations. These employers stood out for their commitment to their employees and the community.
The nomination for Alpha Omega notes that they “strive to minister to the needs of each individual affected by” a disaster and that the business takes every opportunity to provide training and work with the employee’s schedules and workloads. RiverStone’s nomination stood out for their commitment to providing leadership development and opportunities to their employees through a competitive entry program available to all employees, as well as through their numerous employee-driven community service efforts.
In addition to local recognition, the winning nominations will be forwarded to the state level. Funds for the program are raised through events such as the Jobs Jamboree (this year happening March 18 at MetraPark) and professional development opportunities hosted by the Billings JSEC for the local business community.
